As You Like It
In Shakespeare's comedy, Rosalind flees a suffocating court with her cousin and finds freedom, romance and self-discovery in the Forest of Arden. This Globe production is set in an eighteenth-century court that becomes a forest painted live on stage during each performance.
Sean Holmes and Charlie Josephine co-direct. Lola Shalam plays Rosalind, Charlie Josephine plays Orlando, Gracie Oddie-James is Celia, Jonnie Broadbent is Touchstone and Katherine Pearce is Jaques. Paul Wills designs, and Katie Richardson is composer and musical director. The running time is 2 hours 40 minutes including a 20-minute interval. All under-16s must be accompanied by an adult and cannot be seated separately.

Where to sit
If you'd rather sit, the Lower Gallery is closest to the action, but watch the side views and the limited legroom on the benches. The Middle Gallery gives a balanced view of the stage and the yard, and the Upper Gallery has the cheapest seats, from £28, with a broad view but less detail.
