About The Venue

The London Palladium, a Grade II* listed theatre opened in 1910, was designed by Frank Matcham and is an iconic venue renowned for its rich history in variety entertainment. It has hosted countless legendary stars and numerous Royal Variety Performances, solidifying its place in British entertainment. Its grand Edwardian Baroque architecture and opulent interior provide a truly memorable and classic theatrical experience.

Seating

Located on the ground floor, the Stalls offer the most direct and immersive experience. The rake is moderate, improving sightlines towards the rear, but shorter people might still find views occasionally obstructed by heads in front, particularly in the mid-section. Legroom is generally adequate, though it can feel tighter in the central block's inner seats; aisle seats typically offer more space. Views from the very front rows (A-C) can be extremely close, requiring an upward gaze for the full stage, potentially missing action at the very top of tall sets. From approximately Row M/N backwards, the Dress Circle overhang begins, which can obscure the very top of the stage for productions with high scenic elements or projections; this effect is more pronounced further back. Side stalls seats offer good views but can have a slight angle to the stage, which is usually minor.

Toilets

Gents and Ladies on all levels. Accessible: Val Parnell Bar (near lift), rear of Stalls (left side before auditorium).
