About The Venue

@sohoplace Theatre, opened in late 2022, is the first new West End theatre in 50 years, part of the Soho Place development. Owned by Nica Burns, it's a state-of-the-art, purpose-built venue designed by Haworth Tompkins. Its unique adaptable auditorium, often configured in-the-round, creates an intimate and immersive experience for audiences, making it a significant addition to London's theatre landscape.

Seating

The Stalls level at @sohoplace offers the most immediate and immersive theatrical experience, positioned closest to the flexible stage. Depending on the production, the stage may be configured in-the-round, thrust, or end-on, with Stalls seating often surrounding it on multiple sides. The seating is steeply raked, ensuring excellent sightlines over the heads of those in front, even from the front rows. Legroom is generally generous for a West End theatre. While all seats provide an unobstructed view of the stage, people should be aware that in non-proscenium configurations, their view of performers may be from the side or rear at various points, which is an intentional aspect of the intimate, immersive design rather than a traditional restricted view.

Toilets

Accessible toilets on each level; Ladies and Gents on all levels except Stalls. Toilets also on ground, first (accessible), second, and third floors.

Bars

Ground floor bar (Stars Restaurant & Bar) and bars on each level of the theatre.

Cloakroom

Free, large cloakroom on the ground floor. Bags larger than A4 (21cm x 30cm) must be checked.

Box Office

Advance sales: Monday – Saturday, 11am to 7pm. For in-person ticket collection, usually open 1 hour before performance.
