Brixton Calling
Part live gig, part memoir, by Alex Urwin and directed by Bronagh Lagan, inspired by Simon Parkes' Live At Brixton Academy. In 1983 Parkes bought a derelict Brixton cinema for £1 and named it The Academy, and over the next decade turned it into one of the world's most famous music venues.
