About The Venue

The Kiln Theatre, formerly the Tricycle Theatre, is a vibrant cultural hub in Kilburn, North West London, renowned for its commitment to diverse new writing and politically charged productions. Reopened in 2018 after a significant redevelopment, it offers an intimate and welcoming atmosphere within a modern, accessible architectural design. The theatre actively engages with its local community, fostering a strong connection through its programming and outreach.

Seating

As the lower tier, the Stalls house the vast majority of the auditorium's seating, arranged in a unified and steeply raked bank of plush individual chairs. Thanks to this modern floor slope, audiences enjoy exceptional sightlines that easily clear the heads of patrons sitting in front of them, even when positioned behind taller guests. The premium sweet spot sits between Rows D and H in the center, providing a perfectly balanced, eye-level view of the stage. Sitting in the very front rows (Rows A to C) places you directly at the edge of the action for an incredibly immersive experience, though you may have to look upward slightly if the stage is raised. Handily, the upper Circle balcony sits high enough that its overhang does not severely clip the top of the set, ensuring that even the very back rows of the Stalls retain excellent views.

Toilets

Mens and Womens Toilets throughout. 1 x Disabled Toilet in Foyer and 1 x Disabled Toilet in Cinema (lower level). All toilets are wheelchair accessible.
