About The Venue

The Noel Coward Theatre, originally opened in 1903 as the New Theatre, is a Grade II listed Edwardian Baroque masterpiece designed by W.G.R. Sprague. Renamed the Albery Theatre in 1973 and then the Noel Coward Theatre in 2006, it boasts an ornate interior and an intimate atmosphere. This historic venue has hosted a diverse range of acclaimed productions, maintaining its status as a prominent fixture in London's West End.

Seating

The Stalls section is located on the ground floor, offering direct access with a gentle rake ensuring good sightlines over the heads of those in front. Rows A to C provide excellent legroom and an immersive experience, being very close to the stage. Further back, rows offer a comprehensive view of the entire stage. However, from approximately row N/P backwards, the overhang from the Dress Circle begins to obscure the very top of the stage, which may affect views of high-set scenery or lighting rigs, though typically not the main action. Side seats in the front rows can offer a slightly angled view, but are generally good. Legroom is generally adequate, improving in the front few rows.
