About The Venue

The Theatre Royal Haymarket, established in 1720, is one of London's most historic and beautiful theatres. Rebuilt in 1821 by John Nash, its iconic Regency façade and opulent interiors exude a classic theatrical grandeur. A Grade I listed building, it has hosted countless legendary performances and continues to offer a truly traditional West End experience.

Seating

The Stalls form the ground floor seating area, offering a traditional theatre experience. The stage is relatively high, meaning the very front rows (A-C) may require people to look up significantly, which can be uncomfortable for longer performances. Views from the mid-stalls (Rows D-M) are generally excellent and considered prime seating, benefiting from a good rake that helps mitigate obstructions from heads in front. Legroom is standard for a historic theatre, which can be somewhat limited, particularly in central rows; aisle seats offer slightly more space. The overhang from the Dress Circle begins to affect the view of the very top of the stage from approximately Row P backwards, potentially cutting off the highest parts of the set or lighting rigs. There are no significant pillars obstructing views within the Stalls.
