Just know that Rows A-D are extremely close-up, which can be intense and often means looking up significantly – potentially cutting off the very top of the stage. For excellent, unobstructed views of the entire stage, central seats from Row E to M are the sweet spot.

Side seats in the front half are generally good, though with a slightly angled perspective. Legroom is adequate for an older theatre, but can feel tighter in the front rows and for taller individuals.

Be aware that from approximately Row P/Q onwards, the Dress Circle overhang begins to affect the view of the very top of the stage, potentially obscuring high set pieces or lighting rigs. Thankfully, you won't find any significant pillars in this section.

For a balanced, panoramic view of the stage, the Royal Circle is often considered the premium choice. This first elevated tier features a good rake, ensuring clear sightlines across the auditorium.

Front and central seats (Rows A-E) offer superb views, providing an excellent perspective on both the action and the set design. Side seats are good, though slightly angled.

Legroom is generally comparable to the Stalls. A key note for Row A: the safety rail can slightly obstruct the view for shorter people when leaning back.

From the back rows, specifically Row H/J onwards, the Upper Circle overhang begins to affect the very top of the stage, similar to the Stalls overhang.

As the second tier from the stage, the Grand Circle offers high, comprehensive views. Its steep rake effectively helps with sightlines over rows in front.

While you'll get a full picture of the stage, be prepared for a distant view; intricate details and facial expressions may be harder to discern without binoculars. Central seats offer the best value for money in this section.
