Matthew Bourne's Cinderella

Matthew Bourne's New Adventures brings back its acclaimed Cinderella, danced to Prokofiev's score and reset amid the Blitz in wartime London. The story follows a chance wartime meeting between Cinderella and an RAF pilot, returning to Sadler's Wells for a Christmas season marking the production's 30th anniversary.

The production features Katrina Lyndon as Cinderella and Reece Causton as Harry the Pilot. The Imperial War Museums are serving as the production's official partner.

Buying advice

How to book

Peak and off-peak prices are close, so choose the date that suits you rather than the one that saves a few pounds.

Ways to pay less

There is no need to book far ahead as the show sells steadily rather than out, so choose the date that suits you rather than one that saves a few pounds. The best value is the TodayTix saving of up to 40%, which beats anything else, but is not guaranteed. If you prefer to book a specific seat, the Second Circle offers great value for money, though mind the steep slope and tight legroom.

Where to sit

The First Circle is the gold standard for dance, with superb overhead views; avoid the side slips. In the Stalls, centre Rows G to M are the sweet spot, but mind the stage lip at the front. The Second Circle is great value, with a steep slope and tight legroom.
