In 1992 St Petersburg, as capitalism rises, old friends Evgeny and Dmitri turn to espionage and racketeering to secure their futures. Their first surveillance target, Katya, complicates matters when Evgeny falls for her, leading to a comedic exploration of personal freedoms in a newly free market.
