Kimberly Akimbo

A musical with book and lyrics by David Lindsay-Abaire and music by Jeanine Tesori, which won five Tony Awards including Best Musical. Kimberly Levaco is a 16-year-old with a rare genetic condition that makes her age four times faster than normal. She dreams of adventure and first love, and finds herself drawn into a cross-country scheme with her ex-con aunt.

This is the European premiere, directed by Michael Longhurst at Hampstead Theatre. Maria Friedman plays Kimberly, with Gilli Jones, Peter Hannah, Alice Fearn, Niamh Perry and Sara Hajizadeh in the cast. The running time is 2 hours 35 minutes including an interval. Suggested for ages 14+.
