The Story
The Story is a newsroom thriller by American playwright Tracey Scott Wilson, in its first UK staging. When a white teacher is killed in a black neighbourhood, four journalists race to get the headline at any cost. Shocking new evidence pulls them into the case, and each must decide what to risk to tell their version of the truth.
Clint Dyer directs at the Olivier Theatre. Letitia Wright plays Yvonne, with Ashley Thomas as Neil, Lorraine Toussaint as Pat, Aliyah Odoffin as Latisha and Wilf Scolding as Jeff. The running time is about 2 hours 30 minutes with an interval. The theatre notes flashing lights, haze, loud noises, strong language and gunshots, and themes of racism and violence.

Where to sit
The Olivier's Circle is often considered its best seats, with a superb view of the stage and set. The Stalls have a great rake and direct views, but Rows A to D mean craning your neck. Seats run from £30 to £110.
