About The Venue

The Adelphi Theatre, a prominent West End venue, boasts a rich history dating back to 1806, though its current Art Deco facade and interior were rebuilt in 1930. Renowned for hosting successful musicals, it offers a grand and elegant atmosphere, reflecting its architectural significance as a fine example of 20th-century design. Its central location and classic charm make it a beloved destination for theatre-goers.

Seating

The Stalls are located on the ground floor, offering direct access from the main foyer. The stage at the Adelphi is relatively high, which means people in the very front rows (typically A-C) may need to look up significantly, potentially causing neck strain during longer performances. The rake (slope) of the Stalls seating is generally good from row D backwards, providing clear sightlines over the heads of those in front. Legroom is generally adequate, though it can feel more restricted in the front few rows and towards the ends of longer rows. Views from the side blocks are slightly angled but typically do not suffer from severe obstructions. The Dress Circle overhang begins around row P/Q, which can slightly obscure the very top of the stage for those seated in the back rows of the Stalls, particularly for productions with significant vertical staging elements.
