About The Venue
The Cambridge Theatre, opened in 1930, is a striking example of Art Deco architecture, designed by Wimperis, Simpson and Guthrie. Its innovative use of materials like chromium and black glass gives it a distinctive, elegant, and intimate atmosphere. A Grade II listed building, it has hosted numerous successful productions. It is currently the long-term home of Matilda The Musical.
