Finborough Theatre

The Finborough Theatre is an intimate, single-room studio space located on the first floor above The Finborough Arms pub. The seating is typically arranged in a single, steeply raked block, ensuring excellent sightlines over the heads of those in front, even from the back rows. The configuration is often flexible, adapting between end-on and thrust stage setups depending on the production, which contributes to the highly immersive experience. Due to the theatre's small scale, all 50 seats offer a very close and direct view of the stage. Legroom is generally sufficient for a theatre of this size, though it can be somewhat limited in certain rows, particularly for taller people. There are no traditional pillars or architectural obstructions to views. While all seats provide a clear view, those in the very front row might experience a slight upward angle for some stage designs. The overall layout prioritizes intimacy and direct engagement with the performance.
