Bluebirds

Inspired by real events, Vern Thiessen's 'Bluebirds' tells the story of Canadian nurses Christy, Maggie, and Bab on the Western Front in 1918. Despite the horrors of war and terrible injuries, they find friendship, independence, and power, staying hopeful as danger approaches their hospital. This European premiere is directed by Natasha MacLellan and presented by Theatre New Brunswick in association with Neil McPherson for the multi-award-winning Finborough Theatre.
