A chance meeting on a train between a Black British journalist and a White South African ex-soldier sets in motion an escalating chain of events over thirty years, as one withholds forgiveness and the other obsessively seeks it. Inspired by a true story, this gripping new play is a psychological thriller exploring memory, race, war, trauma, the legacy of Apartheid, and the limits of forgiveness.
