The Pit section is an incredibly intimate, ground-level area holding just 52 seats arranged across four tight rows (Rows A to D) that wrap closely around three sides of the thrust stage. Seating here consists entirely of low, backless wooden benches where audience members sit shoulder-to-shoulder with minimal legroom, making the physical experience famously cramped and demanding on your core muscles unless you manage to book the very back row (Row D) to lean against the gallery structure behind you. Despite the discomfort, it offers the ultimate premium perspective of the performance, as you sit directly at the feet of the actors—who routinely use the Pit's narrow aisles for dramatic entrances and exits

From a slightly elevated height, the Lower Gallery offers intimate views close to the action, encircling the stage. However, you must be prepared for the theatre's architectural reality: numerous large wooden pillars support the galleries above, causing significant and often severe restricted views, particularly in the side sections.

While central seats typically offer the least obstructed sightlines, even here, pillars can be a factor depending on your specific seat and the staging. You'll be on backless wooden benches, which can become uncomfortable during longer performances, and legroom is relatively tight.

Look out for the 'Gentlemen's Rooms' for a slightly more private, box-like experience, though these too remain subject to pillar obstructions.
