Julius Caesar
Shakespeare's political thriller, staged by candlelight in the intimate Sam Wanamaker Playhouse. Citizens of Rome witness a murderous conspiracy against Julius Caesar. As public opinion shifts, the Senate's intrigue escalates into civil war.
Joe Hill-Gibbins directs. The Globe's page warns of depictions of war, suicide and violence, and all under-16s must be accompanied by an adult and cannot be seated separately. The run includes signed, audio-described, captioned and relaxed performances. Cast and running time have yet to be announced.
The cast includes Kate Duchêne as Julius Caesar/Soothsayer/Octavius Caesar, Caoilfhionn Dunne as Brutus, Adam Gillen as Mark Antony, and Natey Jones as Cassius.

Where to sit
The Pit is as close to the action as you can get, but it's a famously demanding sit. The Lower Gallery has intimate views, but watch for the many pillars and backless benches. The Upper Gallery is the best value for a view of the whole theatre, though comfort and detail suffer.
