TKTS is your best option to get decent mid-range seats on the day of the performance (off-peak) - you can usually get second row Royal Circle seats for the same price as seats towards the back of the Grand Circle
Apart from TKTS, always book direct from the official website as third party resellers tend to inflate prices for this show
If you don't mind sitting near the back, then I recommend booking a few weeks in advance, since the budget ticket prices tend to sharply increase closer to a performance date
When to book
Mon/Wed performances are cheapest, topping out at £185 against £225 on Fri. If you can be flexible on the day, day and lottery tickets start at £10; groups get the biggest reduction from £49.50 a head.

Entries for each draw open at 12.01 am on Friday and close at 1 pm the following Thursday. Winners drawn between 1 and 5 pm on Thursday, and you will have 30 minutes to claim. Seating
In my opinion, the best value seats are the front row Royal Circle, extreme left and right seats. You will be guaranteed an unobscured view of the stage. They are currently priced at £80 off-peak and £90 peak, although these seats tend to be bought up at least a month in advance.
