The Devil Wears Prada
A recent college graduate, Andy, lands a job at the prestigious Runway magazine working for the formidable editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly. As she sacrifices her personal life to meet Miranda's demands, she becomes seduced by the glamorous fashion world she once despised.
The musical is based on Lauren Weisberger's novel and the film. It has music by Elton John and lyrics by Shaina Taub and Mark Sonnenblick. Jerry Mitchell directs and choreographs. Stevie Doc plays Andy and Matt Henry is Nigel. Teri Hatcher takes over as Miranda from 20 October 2026, after Debbie Kurup. Running time is approximately 2 hours 30 minutes including one interval, and the age guidance is recommended for ages 8+.

How to book
The Devil Wears Prada sells steadily rather than out and is booking to September 2027, so there's no need to rush unless you want a particular Miranda. Debbie Kurup plays her until 17 October, and Teri Hatcher from 20 October 2026 to 6 February 2027. Principal cast members take occasional holidays, so check the official website before you book.
Ways to pay less
You can usually leave it to the day, as TKTS has it nearly every day at around 36% off, which often beats booking weeks ahead unless you want a particular seat. An early-bird rate is available if you book well ahead, or you can save up to 33% on tickets from SeatPlan, with £45 seats usually £67.50, as a sure alternative. Peak and off-peak prices are close, so choose the date that suits you rather than the one that saves a few pounds. Students pay from £28.75 and groups of 6 or more get the biggest reduction, from £42.50 a head.

Where to sit
The Dress Circle is often considered the best level at the Dominion, with unobstructed, elevated views. The Stalls give solid views, but the overhang affects the back rows. Wherever you sit, aisle seats on the inside edges of the side sections, far left of the right-hand block or far right of the left-hand block, give a clear view of the stage. Budget seats run £25–£50 off-peak and premium seats £175–£250.
