About The Venue

Opened in 2013, Park Theatre is a modern, purpose-built venue in Finsbury Park, North London, featuring two distinct performance spaces: Park200 and Park90. It quickly established itself as a vibrant hub for new writing and revivals, aiming to be a local theatre with national impact. The contemporary design prioritizes functionality and audience comfort, fostering an intimate and welcoming atmosphere for diverse productions.

Seating

The Park200 is the larger of the two auditoriums, typically configured with a thrust stage or in-the-round, though it can adapt to a proscenium layout. Seating is steeply raked, ensuring excellent sightlines over the heads of those in front. Seats are modern and comfortable, offering good legroom throughout. Due to the flexible nature of the stage, views can vary slightly with each production's set design, but generally, the intimate scale of the theatre means no seat is truly 'bad'. Side seats in a thrust configuration might offer a slightly angled view, occasionally requiring a head turn, but this is usually compensated by proximity to the action. Restricted views are rare, primarily limited to instances where a very tall set piece might partially obscure a small portion of the stage from extreme side or back rows, which is uncommon.
